We buy, overhaul and supply used large machine tools — boring mills, roll grinders, double-column machining centres and vertical lathes — held in stock in Changwon and shipped worldwide.
A working list of machines held and sourced through our Changwon yard — 44 units across boring mills, roll grinders, vertical lathes, gantry mills and machining centres. Every unit is inspected before it is listed and can be reconditioned to specification before shipment.

Sizes and weights shown are reference ranges for the machine class, not the individual unit — the exact specification of each machine is issued on enquiry and verified during inspection. Photographs marked “type reference” illustrate the machine type; photographs of the actual unit are supplied on request. Prices are quoted individually after inspection — no list prices are published.
We are a dealer, a new-machine supplier, a rebuilder and a forwarder in one — which is why a machine can be bought, reconditioned and loaded without leaving our hands.
Sourcing, inspection and supply of large second-hand machine tools. We buy outright and keep the machines in stock at our own yard in Changwon, so a buyer can inspect a unit under power rather than buy from a photograph.
Boring mills, roll grinders, double-column machining centres, vertical turning lathes, gantry and floor-type mills — generally in the 10 to 200 tonne class.
Alongside our used stock we supply new machines from Korean builders, quoted to the specification you need — turning centres, machining centres, lathes, milling machines and boring mills, with commissioning and warranty handled through the builder.
This is the route when a used machine is the wrong answer: a new control, a known delivery date and a long service life on a critical part of the shop.
Other builders quoted on request. Lead times and prices confirmed per project.
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical overhaul, carried out before shipment or on site. Geometry re-alignment and hand scraping, spindle and gearbox rebuilds, way and ball-screw replacement.
Where a machine is mechanically sound but its control is obsolete, we carry out CNC retrofit and control replacement, and re-commission the machine to a documented accuracy standard.
Dismantling, lifting and crating at our yard, inland transport to Busan, and ocean freight to the destination port — heavy-lift and flat-rack where the machine requires it.
Export documentation, packing lists and loading supervision are handled in-house, with photographs and a loading report issued to the buyer at each stage.
KOMA International has been trading large machine tools since 1991 — long enough to watch one generation of heavy machinery retire and another take its place, and to have moved most of it ourselves.
Three and a half decades in this trade is mostly a matter of judgement: knowing which machines were built to last, which ones were run into the ground, and what a rebuild will actually cost before anyone commits to it. That judgement is what our customers are buying when they buy from us.
Our machines have gone to shipyards, heavy machinery plants, steel works and paper mills — buyers who care less about paint than about whether the machine holds tolerance on a six-metre table. We work the same way with a single machine as with a plant clearance: inspect it honestly, quote it plainly, and deliver it in the condition we described.
Everything is held and prepared in Changwon, on the south coast, within reach of Busan — one of the reasons the loading and shipping side of this business has never needed to be outsourced.
A typical transaction, in four steps. Inspection reports and photographs are issued at every stage.
You tell us the machine type, size and work envelope you need. We answer with what is in stock or what we can find.
Photographs, video under power and a measurement report — or a visit to Changwon by appointment.
Agreed work is carried out and documented before the machine is released for shipping.
Dismantling, crating, inland transport to Busan, ocean freight and export documents.
Send the machine type, the size or work envelope and the destination port. We reply with what we have, its condition, and a price after inspection.
Inspection visits by appointment. Telephone enquiries welcome.
